A Little About Me

I am in my third year at Canton ISD and am also a CHS alumni.  I've lived in Canton most of my life, and even married a Canton boy.  My husband and I, Jason, have been married for 17 years, and have 2 amazing daughters, Raeleigh (10th grade) and Therryn (7th grade).  I am extremely excited to be in Canton as a teacher, and look forward to an amazing year with your kiddos.  I like to do things a little differently in my classroom, by doing lots of collaborative group work.  I feel when students work together, they adapt different learning styles, and are able to be more successful.  If you were to come into my classroom, you'd hear lots of talking, and perhaps students moving around the room.  Students spend lots of time sitting in a desk, so the movement gets the blood flowing and their brains moving.  My prayer for this school year, is that students enjoy the time in my classroom and learn a great deal of knowledge in the process.  I thank you so much for sharing them with me!

 

I am also the CJH cheerleading coach, and look forward to an awesome year filled with fun, laughter, and lots of cheering.  Let's Go Mean Green!!
