Course Description
Welcome to 7th grade English! I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you while also challenging you to meet your fullest potential as a writer. This is a big year for 7th graders because you will be taking a STAAR Writing test for the first time since 4th grade. We will practice our essay-writing skills as well as enhance our knowledge of grade-level grammar rules. While that makes this class very critical, I know with your daily preparation for class and eagerness to learn, we will have a great year together conquering every new obstacle along the way!
