Who says student's can't have fun and learn at the same time?

Mrs. Duke here, with Room 207, at Canton Jr. High School.  I live in Canton with my husband.  Our 4 children attended all Canton ISD schools and are now off on their own working and raising families.  I attended Texas Women's University, worked in rehabilitation at Baylor Rehabilitation Hospital, ran a home day care, and then became a Texas Special Education Teacher. 

 

This is my 20th year to be at Canton Jr. High.  Room 207 is where we explore and learn Texas TEKS  based on each student's individual needs and levels.   We participate in all subject areas and enjoy the electives offered and campus activities.  We participate in Special Olympics representing C.J.H. and the Canton Eagles!  We participate in a wide array of academic activities and enjoy STEM activities and hands on experiences.  We have a lot of fun while we learn and explore new experiences.
