Hello! My name is Mrs. Ashlee Norrell. I will be your child’s 6th or 7th grade ELAR teacher for the

2025-2026 school year! This will be my 9th year teaching at Canton Jr. High and I look forward to making it a great school year!

I grew up in Arlington, Texas where I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington.  I met my husband and moved to Canton in 2005.  We have 2 boys; one just graduated with his masters from the University of Arkansas and the other will be a sophomore at Oklahoma State University.

My daily schedule:

1st period 7:40 - 8:55 6th grade ELAR

2nd period 8:58 - 9:43 7th grade ELARi

3rd period  9:47 - 10:32 7th grade ELARi

4th period 10:35 - 11:20 7th grade ELARi

5th period  11:24 - 12:09 7th grade ELARi

6th period  12:12 - 12:57 Lunch

7th period 1:01 - 1:46 7th grade ELAR

8th period 1:49 - 2:34 Conference

9th period  2:38 - 3:23 7th grade ELAR

My conference is from 1:49-2:34, Monday-Friday.
