Hello! My name is Mrs. Ashlee Norrell.  I will be your child’s 6th grade Reading teacher for the 2024-2025 school year! This will be my 8th year teaching at Canton Jr. High and I look forward to making it a great school year!

I grew up in Arlington, Texas where I graduated from Sam Houston High School.  I met my husband and moved to Canton in 2005.  We have 2 boys; one will start the masters program at the University of Arkansas and the other will be a freshman at Oklahoma State University.

My dailly schedule:

1st period 7:40 - 8:55 6th grade Reading

2nd period 8:58 - 9:43 6th grade Reading

3rd period  9:47 - 10:32 Conference

4th period 10:35 - 11:20 6th grade Reading

5th period  11:24 - 12:09 Lunch

6th period  12:12 - 12:57 6th grade Reading

7th period 1:01 - 1:46 6th grade Reading

8th period 1:49 - 2:34 6th grade Reading

9th period  2:38 - 3:23 6th grade Reading
