About Mrs. Burke

Welcome to 6th Grade Math

Canton Junior High School

2024-2025

My name is Mrs. Burke.  I teach 6th Grade Math here at Canton Junior High. This is an awesome place to be.

To tell you a little about myself, This is my 17th year teaching, but it is my third year here at Canton Junior High.  My husband is retired from active duty in the Air Force, so I have had the opportunity to live and teach in many different places around the world. I have a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Texas A&M University (College Station), a B.S. in Education from Weber State University (Ogden, Utah), and a Masters in Math Education from George Mason University (Fairfax, Virginia).

I am looking forward to the adventures we will have together in our learning this year.

Most of the communication this year will be through email and Remind. Please join your child's class by texting the code for their class period to 81010.
